SUGER LOOP-REALISTIC DOUNET

I recently completed a 3D donut model in Maya. I began by gathering reference images to understand the form and texture of a real donut. I started the modeling process using polygonal modeling techniques to shape the donut and frosting. Once the base forms were done, I added details like sprinkles to enhance realism. I then unwrapped the UVs and applied textures using procedural shaders to simulate the sugary surface. Finally, I set up basic lighting and rendered the scene using Arnold to give it a soft, appealing look. This helped me strengthen my foundation in modeling, texturing, and rendering within Maya.
